Q: Do you travel out of state?
Yes. In this case additional charges will apply for travel fees.
Q: Is there travel fees for the shoot?
Anything within 30 miles of Westmont, IL does not have a travel fee. Additional travels fees that apply will be parking or hotel fees. Hotel fees are usually charged anything over 100 miles from the shoot location.
Q: How long does it take to get a response from an online inquiry?
We get back to all inquiries within 24 hours of receiving them.
Q: Do you have a studio that we can meet at?
No. We are a small growing company that has big plans to eventually have a studio location to tend to the needs of all our clientele.
Q: Is TruFocus on social media?
Yes. Currently we are posting online to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Q: Do you accept any other forms of payment than Credit Card or Check?
No. These are the only forms of payment we accept. The Credit cards we accept are MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and Discover.
Q: Do you accept PayPal, Stripe, Venmo or other third party online payments?
No. Not at this time.
Q: Do you offer indoor and outdoor shoots? If my shoot is rained out do we get a refund?
Yes. We are prepared to film outside. The only time we will need to cancel to re-schedule a shoot is if there is rain. We do not offer refund for shoots, but we can offer a credit to setup a new shoot date for the same video.
Q: Do you offer photography services?
Currently we are limited to only family portraits and event photography. We host photo events throughout the year such as Ducks and Bunnies and photos with Santa as holiday photos for clients. As of now we do not have any plans of expanding this end of the business.
Q: Do you offer animation services?
Yes. We often incorporate animation into our videos such as logo builds.
Q: Do you offer same day edit weddings?
Yes. We have done this before as a replacement for the highlight film. We have our editor on set and our videographer(s) constantly give the editor footage throughout the day for the final video to be done by the end of the night to be displayed at the reception.
Q: How many cameras do you bring to a shoot?
Depending on the shoot requirements we always bring 1 camera as a back-up.
Q: Do you have your own audio gear?
Yes. We have multiple wired and wireless microphones.
Q: Do you shoot in HD?
Yes. We shoot everything in 1080 HD and have the capability of also shooting in 4K.
Q: Do you have insurance?
Yes. We have a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy.
Q: Do you have equipment to take audio feed from a DJ/Board?
Yes. We have every connection possible to take any feed we may need for the project.
Q: Do you offer drones?
Yes. TruFocus outsources any drone footage needed for a project. Our freelancers have the Part 107 and FAA 333 Exception certifications along with insurance.
Q: Can I add additional hours the day of the event?
No. Our videographers need advance notice on additional hours as they may have other shoots or projects that have deadlines.
Q: Do you offer professional lighting?
Yes. We have a variety of LED and Fluorescent lights to choose from based on the needs of the project.
Q: What kind of cameras do you have?
We have a variety of different professional camcorders, cine cameras, and DSLR’s available for any kind of shoot possible.
Q: Do you offer color correction and grading services?
Yes. If you have a style you’re looking for we can match it using DaVinci Resolve. A color suite program that all the professionals use in our industry.
Q: Do you have the capability of shooting VR & 360 Video?
Not at this time, but we are experimenting with this technology.
Q: What is the maximum number of cameras you have to shoot a live event?
We currently have access to up to 8 cameras at one time using a TriCaster board that takes in all the cameras signals at one time for live multi-camera editing.
Q: How long will it take my film to be complete?
Each project has different lengths and challenges that present itself. An estimate on completion of each project will be given at the time of finalizing the contract agreement.
Q: How do I receive my video?
Your TruFocus video in downloadable in a private link though Vimeo. This link will be sent to you once your project is completed.
Q: Can I buy DVD’s or Blu-Rays?
No. We are no longer offering these services. You can either purchase a USB, hard drive, or online footage.
Q: Can anyone else see my videos?
No. Your videos with be online with privately. Only people with the video link will be able to see it.
