Q: Do you travel out of state?

Yes. In this case additional charges will apply for travel fees.

Q: Is there travel fees for the shoot?

Anything within 30 miles of Warrenville, IL does not have a travel fee. Additional travels fees that apply will be parking or hotel fees. Hotel fees are usually charged anything over 100 miles from the shoot location.


Q: How long does it take to get a response from an online inquiry?

We get back to all inquiries within 24 hours of receiving them.

Q: Is TruFocus on social media?

Q: Do you accept Credit Card or Check?

Yes. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and Discover.

Q: Do you accept Cash?

Yes. We recommend if paying with cash you pay in person so we can verify the amount and give you a receipt as proof of purchase.


Q: Do you offer indoor and outdoor shoots? If my shoot is rained out do we get a refund?

Yes. We are prepared to film outside. The only time we will need to cancel to re-schedule a shoot is if there is rain. We do not offer refunds for shoots, but we can offer a credit to setup a new shoot date if cancelled within 48 hours or due to bad weather.


Q: Do you offer photography services?

Currently we are limited to only family portraits and event photography. We host photo events throughout the year such as Ducks and Bunnies photos for clients. As of now we do not have any plans of expanding this end of the business.

Q: Do you offer graphic design services?

Yes. We often incorporate graphic design into our videos such as logo builds or lower third images.

Q: Do you offer same day edit weddings?

Yes. We have done this before as a replacement for the highlight film. We have our editor on set and our videographer(s) constantly give the editor footage throughout the day for the final video to be done by the end of the night to be displayed at the reception.


Q: How many cameras do you bring to a shoot?

Unless requested prior to the shoot date for an any additional cameras the videographer will come with 1 camera.

Q: Do you have your own audio gear?

Yes. We have multiple wired and wireless microphones.

Q: Do you shoot in HD?

Yes. We shoot everything in 1080 HD and have the capability of also shooting in 4K.

Q: Do you have insurance?

Yes. We have a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy.

Q: Do you have equipment to take audio feed from a DJ/Board?

Yes. We have every connection possible to take any feed we may need for the project.

Q: Do you offer drones?

Yes. TruFocus outsources any drone footage needed for a project. Our freelancers have the Part 107 and FAA 333 Exception certifications along with insurance.

Q: Can I add additional hours the day of the event?

Yes. If we do not have any other scheduled shoots after your shoot we can extend the shooting hours.

Q: Do you offer professional lighting?

Yes. We have a variety of LED and Fluorescent lights to choose from based on the needs of the project.

Q: What kind of cameras do you have?

We have a variety of different professional camcorders, cine cameras, and DSLR’s available for any kind of shoot possible.

Q: Do you offer color correction and grading services?

Yes. If you have a style you’re looking for we can match it using DaVinci Resolve. A color suite program that all the professionals use in our industry.

Q: How do I get pricing for video?

All our pricing can be found on our “video pricing page” for any video project needs.

Q: What is the maximum number of cameras you have to shoot a live event?

We currently have access to up to 4 cameras at one time using a TriCaster board that takes in all the cameras signals at one time for live multi-camera editing.


Q: How long will it take my film to be complete?

Each project has different lengths and challenges that present itself. An estimate on completion of each project will be given at the time of finalizing the contract agreement. A typical completion time is around 2-3 weeks.


Q: How do I receive my edited video?

Your TruFocus video in downloadable in a private link through Vimeo. This link will be sent to you once your project is completed.

Q: Can I buy hard copies of the footage?

Yes. You can either purchase a USB or a hard drive for bigger file sizes.

Q: How do I receive my raw footage?

Your raw footage will be sent by email downloadable in a private link through Google Drive. This link will be sent to you within 72 hours of the shoot date if requested.

Q: Can anyone else see my videos?

Yes. Your videos with be online to be public if you choose or we can share them privately so that only people with the video link will be able to see it.
