When Vintonas "Vint" Harris discovered filmmaking through his high school program, it ignited a passion that would transform how he sees the world. Born in Boston and raised on Chicago's south side before settling in Downers Grove eleven years ago, this tall, positive young Lithuanian-American brings a unique cultural perspective to his role as Production Assistant Intern at TruFocus Productions. Currently studying business at College of DuPage, Vint approaches filmmaking with both creative vision and business acumen, understanding that successful storytelling requires both artistic passion and strategic thinking.

What sets Vint apart is his infectious positive energy and genuine curiosity that he brings to every project. His philosophy centers on the belief that "the best way to learn is just to do," which has earned him recognition including 2nd Place in Digital Cinema at SkillsUSA 2024. Vint understands that filmmaking is far more complex than most people realize - while clients might expect a quick "in and out" experience, he appreciates the extensive work that goes into creating the final product that tells their story.

Vint•s most rewarding project to date was working on the Crucible Project, where he felt a new level of creative control while supporting a message he truly believed in. This experience reinforced his commitment to using his skills to share stories of groups and businesses he believes in, particularly those from diverse cultural backgrounds. His passion for art preservation causes, especially from underrepresented groups, reflects his desire to use filmmaking as a vehicle for cultural sharing and social impact.

The film industry's rapid evolution, particularly the increased use of Al in workflows, doesn't intimidate Vint - instead, he stays focused on continuous improvement while keeping tabs on industry changes without letting them consume him unnecessarily. His approach to staying current involves analyzing every promotional video he encounters, using them as learning opportunities to identify what works and what doesn't. This analytical mindset, combined with his focus on skills over equipment, demonstrates his understanding that technical proficiency grows through consistent practice and observation.

At TruFocus Productions, Vint thrives in the collaborative environment, describing his teammates as "incredible" and noting how "everyone is so passionate and helpful."
